Gal is currently enjoying a well-deserved break after wrapping up filming for the new movie Wonder Woman 1984 in December. Taking to her Instagram, she shared three photos with director Patty Jenkins and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fellow cast members and crew. In her post, she reflected on the unique and special experience of shooting the sequel, stating that this time was even more amazing than the first.

“We filmed in 4 completely different spots across 3 countries, and I’m super proud of the nearly 1000 crew members who showed up to set every day, giving their all to our movie,” Gadot mentioned.
“I couldn’t have asked for better colleagues on this project. I’m incredibly fortunate to have the amazing Patty Jenkins as my director,” she added.
“She’s always got our backs, she encourages us to take risks, and every day she helped us discover the most creative versions of ourselves,” Gadot revealed about her director.

The first film in the series, 2017’s Wonder Woman, was a massive success for Warner Bros.’ DC Extended Universe, grossing over $800 million worldwide from a $149 million budget.
