On Tuesday, news broke that Gal Gadot received a paycheck of $300,000 for her lead role in Wonder Woman, a far cry from Henry Cavill’s $14 million for his role as Superman in Dawn Of Justice. It’s no surprise then that she seemed a bit glum while out shopping with her husband, Yaron Varsano, in Los Angeles the day before. The 32-year-old actress sported a relaxed look in metallic silver shorts, black leather sneakers, and a ‘Paris City Limits’ white T-shirt paired with sunglasses.
Taking a leisurely stroll through the shops: Gal Gadot and her husband Yaron Varsano were spotted shopping in Los Angeles on Monday. Yaron, who will be turning 39 next week, sported a stylish outfit consisting of a white polo, green shorts, and black leather loafers. Meanwhile, the real estate developer seemed engrossed in a phone conversation. The pair took advantage of their kid-free excursion, with their daughters Alma (5) and Maya (3 months) not in sight.
Relax: The 32-year-old opted for a laid-back look with metallic silver shorts, sunglasses, black leather sneakers, and a ‘Paris City Limits’ white T-shirt.
Reports initially suggested she was paid only $300,000 for her role as the Amazonian princess, while Henry Cavill reportedly earned $14 million for his role in Man Of Steel.
However, Vanity Fair later clarified that Cavill’s significantly higher salary included a box office bonus, which has not yet been factored into Gadot’s earnings.
In fact, TMZ recently revealed that the Israeli actress is expected to receive a substantial performance bonus, especially as the film continues to soar towards $600 million at the box office.
It’s a mixed bag: Wonder Woman is on track to make $600 million worldwide, even though its lead actress allegedly received just $300,000.
Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, and Ben Affleck’s Batman joined forces in the 2016 film Batman V Superman – Dawn Of Justice.
The ex-military officer and former Miss Israel feels a deep connection to portraying the legendary female superhero, stating that she believes she was destined for the role. She sees herself as a role model for young girls, representing a strong and independent woman.

She emphasized the importance of having a female superhero for girls to admire, highlighting the character’s fearlessness, determination, and self-belief as qualities that define a “true woman” in her eyes.
At the event, Gal made a statement in a stunning red dress while she was photographed alongside Ben and Henry back in 2016.
