In the photo, Gadot was sitting in a dressing room surrounded by a rack of clothes and various shoes scattered on the floor. She looked stunning in a bold red Yves Saint Laurent pantsuit paired with a crisp white shirt underneath, complemented by matching red matte lipstick beautifully applied by her stylists. Following the success of the first Wonder Woman movie, development on Wonder Woman 1984 started shortly thereafter. The project was officially confirmed at Comic-Con International in 2017.
Shooting for the film began in the summer of 2018 and continued throughout the year, with some members of the cast returning for additional scenes the following year.
Originally scheduled for a 2019 release, Wonder Woman 1984 experienced multiple delays for various reasons. Due to the global pandemic, the film will now have a simultaneous theatrical and virtual release on December 25th.
The movie will also have a virtual premiere at the DC Fandome event today, where Gal Gadot, director Patty Jenkins, and co-stars Kristen Wiig and Chris Pine will be making virtual appearances.
