She displayed her top-tier status in a striking photoshoot for Glamour, showing off in various glamorous, low-cut outfits.
Although she now enjoys the stability of her dazzling career, the former Miss Israel 2004 shared in her interview that it wasn’t always smooth sailing.
Gal opened up about her challenging times, saying: ‘Before landing the role in Wonder Woman, I was on the brink of leaving Los Angeles for good, thinking of staying in Israel, doing sporadic acting gigs, returning to university, and pursuing a different path.’

All of her dedication and effort finally bore fruit! Gal’s career skyrocketed to global fame when she landed the role of the legendary superhero, Wonder Woman, on the silver screen back in 2016, alongside fellow actors Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.

Describing the tough reality of the acting industry, the actress shared, “There were countless rejections. You attend auditions, get callbacks, go through multiple rounds, and then they build up your hopes, saying your life will change if you land the role. And then, it doesn’t happen.”

After facing the disappointment of broken promises, Gal reached a point where she no longer wanted to deal with the uncertainty. Being a mother and wife added another layer of responsibility, with her husband’s work in Tel Aviv and the pressure of bringing her family to LA for work opportunities weighing heavily on her mind.

She expressed her doubts, wondering why she was putting herself through it, facing rejection and questioning her worth until Wonder Woman came along. Gal, who initially pursued a career in law, eventually found success in modeling, pageantry, and acting, reflecting on how things didn’t go as expected in her legal career, but ultimately finding relief in the path she ended up taking.

Gal is preparing for the premiere of her latest movie, Justice League, which is set to hit theaters on November 17th.

In reality, lawyers are constantly immersed in conflicts, which is something I try to avoid. I prefer harmony and zen in my life, so I’m actually relieved that a career in law didn’t work out for me. I would not have been a great lawyer anyway.

Despite contemplating a departure from Los Angeles, Gal now resides there with her family: Alma, six, her six-month-old daughter Mya, and her husband Yaron Versano, whom she tied the knot with in 2008.
