Wonder Woman herself knows the importance of adding some fun, feminine accessories to her wardrobe. Recently, Gal Gadot was seen sporting a stylish white dress and matching white pumps at a lunch event to showcase Gucci’s latest perfume at the Bowery Hotel in Soho, New York. As the gorgeous spokesperson for the brand’s Bamboo fragrance, the 30-year-old seems to be reveling in the many perks that accompany her role.
Enjoying a day out: Gal Gadot was seen rocking a chic white dress and matching white pumps on Tuesday as she attended a luncheon to introduce Gucci’s latest fragrance at the Bowery Hotel in New York’s Soho area. The Israeli actress couldn’t contain her happiness, cheekily telling Entertain This! that she felt like a kid in a candy store.
Known for her role as Wonder Woman in the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal looked radiant and flawless at the event. She humorously shared that it took a lengthy two hours of hair and makeup to achieve her stunning look, jokingly admitting that at 8 am, she was far from camera-ready.
Earlier in the day, the star posted a selfie on Instagram showing her makeup artist and hairstylist hard at work, captioning it with the words “Good times! #Guccibamboo.”
Gorgeous dark-haired woman: The Israeli actress, aged 30, who recently landed the role of Super Woman, is also the featured model for Gucci’s Bamboo fragrance.
She was a vision in white, rocking a chic and tailored dress that hit just above her knees. The actress arrived at the Bowery Hotel in a more laid-back outfit, sporting a black trench coat-style jacket over a white tee with ‘Day Dream’ printed boldly across the front in black lettering. Her tall and slender figure was highlighted in form-fitting black leggings and sleek black flats. Gal, who is married to her Israeli businessman husband Yaron Varsano and has a three-year-old daughter named Alma, has been busy promoting her superhero character in recent times.
All set to go: The ex-Miss Israel hopped into the rear of a sleek black SUV.
Working together is essential: The actress openly shared the effort that goes into her stunning appearance by revealing on Instagram that it took ‘two hours of hair and makeup’ for a recent photo. She recently participated in the Women Who Kick A** panel at Comic-Con in San Diego alongside Gwendoline Christie from Game Of Thrones and Hayley Atwell from Agent Carter. Gal, the new Wonder Woman, found kicking a** to be second nature, thanks to her two years of service with the Israeli Defense Forces during compulsory national service. Reflecting on her military experience in an interview with Fashion magazine’s August issue, she mentioned that the training she received in the military has prepared her well for her Hollywood career.
Effortlessly stylish: The actress looked much more relaxed and comfortable in her outfit when she showed up at the venue bright and early at 7.30am.
All smiles: The 5ft 10ins tall actress flaunted her slender legs in a pair of black skinny jeans.
Gal previously wowed Fast & Furious director Justin Lin in 2008 with her expertise in weapons and even did her own stunts in the trilogy.
All of this experience will benefit her greatly for the upcoming release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, as well as her standalone film as Wonder Woman in 2017.
This will mark the first time in 70 years that Wonder Woman will be portrayed on the big screen, with Lynda Carter previously playing the role on ABC from 1975 to 1979.
A proud Gal expressed to Fashion how Wonder Woman symbolizes strength and how she never imagined she would have the opportunity to play a character that has inspired so many women.
Female superheroes: The latest Wonder Woman made an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday, joining Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie and Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell at the Women Who Kick A** panel.
Don’t underestimate her: Gal will be portraying the fierce warrior in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, set to be released on March 25. She will also be headlining her own movie, Wonder Woman, scheduled for release in 2017.
