Designed by Jacqueline Durran, an Oscar-winning costume designer, each character’s outfit in the film was carefully constructed with great attention to detail. Jacqueline described how the yellow dress in our movie was intentionally selected as a nod to the animated version. The aim was to give it a fresh twist by adding intricate details and a realistic touch. The end result was a stunning gown crafted from layers upon layers of airy satin organza in a vibrant shade of yellow (equivalent to 180 feet), expertly cut in a sweeping circular silhouette, and meticulously assembled with 3,000 feet of thread.
